Cook, Crafts, & Cheese Curls

If a family that prays together, stays together... what happens to a family who eats together? Yea yea, that was lame-O... but Nan and Peep's weekly dinner visits are becoming tradition here in our new (is it still considered new) home. It reminds me of their visits when I was a youngin' living with Ma and Pa... Monday nights meant a chance to see my favorites... Nan & Peeps.

Bed Head

Remember when you were little and the excitement you felt of going away for the night (or having someone over) for a sleep over? Well, who says that excitement has to end just because you've grown up!?

Saturday morning all the kiddlets were up super early. Lauri & I decided to let Jon sleep for a few extra hours down stairs and we gathered the kiddos in the master bedroom. After we realized the lack of things to do in there was stunting their curious little minds we moved the pack over to Shawn's room. A few minutes later Shawn announces "I want to go over to Mommy & Lauri's room!" Poor Daddy! We busted out in laughter both thinking "He'd better not say that in public!"

After we got everyone around Lauri and I met up at her house to take the kiddos to the street fair. It was packed, but everyone enjoyed themselves. We then headed to China House Buffet (a new fav of my boys.) While there Shawn decided to go numbero dos in his drawers. Out in the car I told him "Shawn, you smell like poop!" Ha... he didn't think so.... "No, Mommy, I smell like flowers!" KIDS!
