With all the traffic in town where we live I had been looking for quiet places, with in walking distance of our house, to take the kiddos. A few weeks ago Liz and I stumbled upon a cemetery with quite a few trails that appeared almost "park-like." The first time we went walking there I felt rather odd about it. This wasn't exactly the kind of location I was picturing when I was venturing out for new walking trails. The second time we went walking there I noticed quite a few others walking with children and dogs. Seeing that eased my mind and I accepted that we had found a nice serene place to walk with out the dangers that traffic bring.
Today was a perfect day to really test out the new jogging stroller. We finally were able to pick up a bit of speed on our walk. The fresh air was uplifting!
I've come to the sad conclusion that it is unrealistic to take my precious Canon friend with me everywhere I go. The size of it and the lenses make for a nearly imposable situation when I need to chase after two kiddos. The thought of being naked (er... cameraless) made my heart sink. Alas, I've been busting out a little point and shoot just to keep in my pocket to capture fun snapshots of our adventures. Sorry 50D... you just can't come with EVERYWHERE!
