It's vOcation to you, kid!

We're baaaaaack! From vacation that is! The Rawlings Family took their first ever family of 4 vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge this week. This vacation was extra special due to the fact that we double teamed up with the Wolfgangs for an awesome getaway experience. What 3 year olds get to say they went on vacation with their best friend, huh?

Girls Night Out!!! Lindsey and I found some after hours adventure down at the arcade and ice cream shop... this was some much needed girl time after a long day of chasing kiddos. We even had the chance to swim for 2 hours of hands free adult time... Swim we did not... we were slidin' it down all those awesome water slides (multiple times mind you!) It was a blast!!!!
Oh, and Lindsey... here's a muffin for you (&) Ah ha ha ha ha ha!

Pajama party in the ice cream shop... we looked (well I did since I had on actual PJ's) like dorks strolling around the resort... but it sure was fun!

Day 2... after a LOOOOOOONG NIGHT(the kiddos were all asleep sound and wonderful until some idiot must have pulled the fire alarm because it had everyone out of their hotel rooms in the hall in the middle of the night... we grabbed the kids and ran when it didn't stop... thankfully it was a false alarm... but after that Landon refused to go back to sleep on his own and Shawn insisted on sleeping with Mommy.)

This was more fun that you can imagine. Jon and I enjoyed every moment with the boys and their first vacation experience... and sharing it with our amazing friends, the Wolfgangs, made it all the better!

Mommy Time! Shawn and I spent a ton of time in the wave pool today getting him used to the life jacket in deeper water and bouncing in the big waves. I love you, kiddo!

The boys had a wonderful time together... which was such a reward. Watching them play together and enjoy this time too sweet!

And we're home safe and sound... with amazing memories... and tons to laugh about with our wonderful friends. Thanks guys for sharing this with us... we can't wait to do it again!
