One of the things that I love about being a stay-at-home Mommy is the chance for adventure. Everyday I have the opportunity to conjure up something fun and exciting to do with the kiddos. And with spring here and summer fast approaching the sky's the limit when it comes to fun filled day excursions.
After a mini photo shoot and play date this afternoon the kiddos and I paid Nanny a surprise visit. It was a day of pure beauty outside... the sun bright... no humidity... a slightly warm breeze. We took the boys outside to run off some pent up energy (or crawl off in Landon's case.) I know you are thinking: "What kind of adventure is going to visit Nan? You guys are there all the time!" Well, yes, we do visit them every week. But a surprise visit on a Tuesday afternoon just to play outside in the yard was more than enough adventure for these two. What better place for a surprise than their favorite house in the entire world... their great grandparents!

Afternoon snack.
Peeps has his hands full right now. My little helper decided to pitch in and get a few chores done for him. So thoughtful!
I was taking a picture of Landon and turned around to this: Shawn working on yet another of Peep's chores.
This kiddo can crawl faster on grass than on carpet! He was all over the place in the great outdoors!
I have a picture of Shawn in this exact same spot at the exact same age... I'll have to find it to post ;)
The Rawlings Boy's repair service to the rescue. Just like their Peep's... fixing lawnmowers! (Peep's fixed ours last week... Thank You Peeps!!!)
Sitting in a bed of one of my favorite flowers (and my birth month flower as well.)
Lilly of the Valley

This little white sheep is something that Nan and I call "The Hammer." Landon goes around the house with it pounding on EVERYTHING in site. He's such a BOY!
Last week Uncle John brought Delilah over for a visit while Auntie Lizzy was at work. I snapped a few pics of our adorable babes in action. These two are a giant hoot and hollar! Landon pays more attention to Delilah than any other baby he's around. This kid's only got eyes for his girl!
