Nanny and "her boys"
Every Wednesday and Thursday Nanny is anxious for Shawn to greet her at the door and insist that she takes her coat off and "stay a while." When she sits down Shawn runs to the other end of the room and squeals with laughter as Nanny throws her arms out to him. As fast as his little feet can carry him he propels himself across the room and into her arms. All the while, Landon's wide eyes are glued to this joyous reunion of Great-Grandmother & Great-Grandson.

Shawn's new dinosaur from Nanny & Mommy... He fell in love with him immediately and wanted to take him up to his room for nap time. In "Shawn's World" one can never have too many stuffed animals to cuddle with.

Landon's 1st peas:
Words cannot describe how fun it is to watch your child try new foods for the 1st time. Landon has graduated from yellow/orange veggies to green veggies. Next come fruits (and I can't wait!) The verdict on the peas??? At first... a Nay... and then....

I love watching my best friend experience motherhood. It has created yet another bond between us that continues to grow with each new milestone.
(Can you imagine the trouble these two lil ones are going to be getting into in a few months?)

My sweet little "niece" (through friendship), Delilah. Landon and her were giving each other the cutest googly eyes today. Both of them were all smiles as they gazed at each other adoringly. It is apparent that love is in the air already ;)
