Shawn Funnies

Having a two year old has its fair share of challenges, don't get me wrong. But having a two year old is like having your own personal comedian at your disposal 24/7.

The Famous Shawn Funnies:

Courtesy is virtue that Jon and I are constantly working at "installing" in Shawn. (Yes, installing, like software hehe.) Pleases and Thank Yous are a must in the Rawlings household. Shawn, as said earlier, is two. His speech is less than perfect. Please has been "Bee" and "Peas" for months now and is finally at an audible "Please." The Thank Yous are another story. Picture this: My mother in law and I are in Target. Shawn decides to shout his version of Thank You for whatever miscellaneous reason. Shawn pronounces Thank You as the Big Giant F-Bomb. Yes, it comes out clear as day: F&*$ You. Not cool when you are a mom who constantly has to correct him and tell him its pronounced "THANK You" in front of strangers.

Target must be a place for funnies because tonight as we enter the store and head for the dollar isle Shawn lets a big ol' tooter rip right in front of quite a few people. Now, in the Rawlings household the terms for flatulence are either "toot, tooter, boom, or boomer." After the not so graceful maneuver of laughing at his own stink, I ask Shawn "What do you say, Mister!" Shawn, in a less than shouting voice, states "I Farted!"
Umm, no. Its called an "Excuse Me."

A few snapshots of two boys who did not want their picture taken by a mom in a HUGE hurry.

Its a "Mom" thing. (The whole dressing a like.) ;)

O my gosh- even though you told me about this the other day I couldn't help but chuckle when I read about it again.

What cute pics of the two most handsome boys!

This blog was Definitely worth the wait!!! Unfortunately my computer was acting on its own last night and didn't want to cooperate so I wasn't able to see it, so I wondered all day today what it was. That is why I say it was worth the wait! I vividly remember Shawn saying that at Target and of course couldn't help laughing at this adorable grandson of mine. To me it is the best thing in the world, watching him do all of the wonderful things he does, just like my mom thought of Jon's funny antics. One of the best funny was him being potty trained and telling my Mom his batteries were dead so he couldn't go!!! Such wonderful memories will be cherished for a lifetime, and I am so happy to be a part of them. I love you all and miss you more!
