The Calm Before the Storm

Tonight, Liz and I took the kiddos to the park (and I'm not kidding when I say this) RIGHT before it started pouring. Afterward, we stopped for some yummy ice cream to cool off :)

Park pictures courtesy of the lovely and talented Lizzy W!

Such a sweet helper. By the way, I am so not cutting this kids hair! The curls are back. The shaggy look in. Plus, it makes him look younger and more his age. Both his Uncle Cody & his Uncle Mike had cutesy curls as babies.

Monkey Man. This kid takes after his Mommy with the swings. When I was a baby my Mom and Nan both say that I would have sat in a swing all day. Landon is the same way! He never fusses to get out and just plain enjoys himself here. Shawn... of course, the opposite. That kid hated the swing for any length of time over 2 minutes (and still does lol.)

The Trio. Shawn working his way to big brother of the year award ;)

The Thumb: A must have for any situation.

Weeeee...

Happy girl laughing at silly Auntie Ashley ;) If you look close you can see those bottom teethers!

This picture just reminds me that he's not a little baby anymore. He's become such a little boy!

Babes on Swings

Always happy to be at the park with his Mommy and Auntie.

After our rain filled excursion the boys' Pops, Dianna, and Uncle Dale came down for a visit. If "floor boards" could talk... they would have begged to be cleaned up! The three boys had about everything out spread all over the floor. Shawn and Dale were wonderful helpers with putting everything away. Shawn even sang his famous "Clean up clean up... put the toys away" song ;)

Pops & Landon. Pops giving some good teething advice for an aching baby. He certainly has been quite the help for mouth issues of late... between coming to my rescue for my wisdom teeth gone wrong (and still wrong) and Landon's top teeth... I think he's found his calling!

The good ol' bottle will fix it all.

See, all better!

Having three boys in the house was a blast... I can just picture us with another one ;) ;)

What little boy doesn't adore Lego's?

Hearing Shawn call my baby brother "Uncle Dale" just cracks me up. Its adorable :)

Uncle Dale... Master Tower Builder

Did I not get the cutest baby brother on the planet???

"I've got one strong Uncle here!"

Shawn giving apologizes for... something or another. And Dianna soothing a very tired Landon.

Dianna's fashion advice for those long locks ;)

Last night we visited our good friends Jamarcus & Kayla in their new home. Their oldest daughter was celebrating her 4th birthday and Shawn couldn't wait to join the fun!And these two toddlers are only a month apart in age. Shawn trying his best to comfort McKaya.

These two babes were born on the same day... only 4 hours apart! Kayla and I were in labor together all day... walked the halls together... the guys got to chit chat while we were trying to get these babies out. It was certainly neat to go through labor with a dear friend by your side... coincidentally in labor as well. Almost a year later... Landon & Peyton.

Yea, none of them were having any of this picture taking business. Babies off in two different directions... Toddlers escaping. That's ok. I don't give up and I will get my perfect shot... and soon!

Forever linked.

Mommies & Babes.

Daddies & Babes.

Brand new. 6.4.08. Landon & Peyton

How many times in a lifetime does something so perfect happen. I can't believe its been almost a year since we had our little ones!
