Life is s...l...o...w...l...y returning to normal in the Rawlings household. The greatest news that I have to offer is that Nan is home from the hospital and doing better! She still has a long Recovery Road to travel, but she is doing amazingly well. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers... they sure are working!
Friday evening I had the pleasure of photographing Hot Topic's Twilight DVD release party. It was an awesome evening filled with some good friends, the best assistant, and meeting fresh faces. (I will post pics from this event soon... so check back!)
With the normalcy returning so have the tired elbows for lugging around the ol' Canon buddy. I feel like I've missed way too many days behind the camera and with my family (yea, I know its only days, but two weeks worth of major pics!) Saturday evening I took advantage of a few hours of rip rompin' step stompin' playtime and documented the joyous "reunion" of a return to normal.

Thinking of Aunt Tearsa... he still loves this horse :)
When I started to type something here all that came out was this jumbled mess of... "oh my goodness, look at this cute, cutest, oh my... that red hair, oh my those eyes... I love love love this munchykin baby cakes... awwwwww... squeeze gush gush!"
So yea, pick one and run with it ;)
Last light of day... soon time for bedy bye.
The best day ever! Finally getting a visit in with Nan! It was the longest stretch they ever went without seeing her!
Landon was ecstatic to see Nanny... He wanted held right away. (We just had to be careful and do all the lifting as to not hurt her.)
Ol' man munchkin face. I'm sure I gave my family a lot of laughs since I made these exact same goofy faces.
And Shawn couldn't be happier!
Today was Shawn's best friend Owen's 3rd birthday party. The boys had a blast playing today (and wrestling!)
Emily and Landon... this is the 1st "stranger" that Landon hasn't cried for! He took to her immediately.
And Shawn has to go and stick his hand in it! (He was saying "Happy Birthday Cake" all day long... so I guess he couldn't wait any longer.)
